Colorado has one of the nation’s best players — regardless of position — in cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter.
Hunter can change games on either side of the ball, which he did in 2023, and PFF’s Trevor Sikkema has him ranked as the No. 5 college wide receiver in the nation headed into 2024 in regards to the 2025 NFL Draft.
Hunter won the Paul Hornung Award as the nation’s most versatile player in 2023 and was a consensus All-American at the all-purpose position after racking up 57 receptions for 721 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns along with 30 tackles, 3 interceptions and 5 pass deflections in just 9 games.
Hunter is projected as a first-round pick in 2025 but will likely play cornerback in the NFL.
Colorado opens its season on Aug. 29 at home against North Dakota State.
